Cancer Week recap
A 39-second view of the screening and outreach.
More than 200 guests screened, with breast health education and findings that called for further attention.

Cancer Week made space for people to ask questions and get screened. More than 200 guests were screened, alongside education about breast cancer, early detection and self-examination. The value of the week lay in turning awareness into a chance to act.
The screenings identified two HPV-positive results, one breast lump and two enlarged prostates. These are screening findings, not cancer diagnoses. Blood pressure checks also identified about five people who were advised to seek medication and follow-up care.
HEAT also visited House of Damaris, a Ghanaian fashion house with more than 50 workers, and Polish’d, a female-led business with at least 20 staff. These visits extended the week’s health conversation into working communities; the staff figures describe the workplaces, not a separate count of people screened.
The program reached more than 200 guests for screening and surfaced findings that merited further attention. HEAT has not reported verified diagnoses or longer-term follow-up outcomes for those individuals.
