The story

What happened.

HEAT organised a free general health screening at Barnor Memorial Hospital. The goal was to make an accessible first check available to 300 community members and give people a clear route to clinical advice if their results raised concerns.

The day

The screening exceeded its planned target. HEAT also prepared food packs for participants, adding a practical gesture of care to the health service.

From screening to care

Participants whose results needed further analysis or consultation were connected with a doctor within the hospital. The work linked a screening encounter to the next step in care.
